No cookies on the public site

We designed this website so that it does not need a cookie banner: no cookies, local identifiers or third-party tracking scripts are placed on your device when you browse the public pages. Your language choice is expressed in the web address (for example /de/ for German), not stored in a cookie.

How visits are measured

We count visits using a session identifier derived on our server from your IP address and browser, hashed with a key that changes every day. It lets us count how many people visited a page and where they came from, without identifying you and without following you across days or websites. Details are in the privacy policy.

Maps

Property pages may embed a map from OpenStreetMap to show the general location of a property. The map is loaded from OpenStreetMap's servers, which may record your IP address as any web request does. No cookie is set by us in the process.

The staff area

Staff who sign in to manage listings and enquiries use strictly necessary session cookies that keep them signed in. These are not used for visitors.

Local storage

If you send an enquiry, the page you first arrived on and any campaign parameters from the link you used are kept in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days so that we can see which of our advertising brought you to us. This information is only sent to us together with your enquiry, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

The same local storage keeps the properties you mark with the heart and the listings you viewed recently, so they are still there when you come back. That list stays in your browser; opening your saved page only asks our server for the details of those properties.
