Property for sale in Keri, Zakynthos
Keri is a hill village in the south-west of Zakynthos, on the high ground above the cliffs that end the island at Cape Keri and its lighthouse, with the sunset in front of it and Laganas Bay behind. It is a stone village with an old church and a small permanent population, at the opposite end of the island in character from Laganas. It suits buyers who want a stone house or view villa with cliffs and evening light rather than a beach.

The village and the cape
The village is reached by a road that climbs from Limni Keriou past the marsh and up through olives to the plateau, and the lane through it continues to the lighthouse at the cape, where the cliffs drop to the sea. The houses are old and close-packed, the view from the edge of the village runs west over the open Ionian, and the sea below is reached only by boat from the harbour at Limni Keriou.
Property and prices
Keri's market is stone houses in the village, a few of them restored, plots on the plateau with views to the west, and villas built in recent years on the slopes for the sunset. Portal averages in 2026 put the Laganas municipal unit, which covers Keri with Laganas and Kalamaki, at around €2,650 per square metre, a figure weighted by the resort's apartments and not a guide to the villas here; as an indicative band a stone or view villa around Keri is offered at €0.5–1.5 million. Buyers are British and German, and they choose Keri for the stone and the cliffs rather than for yield.
