Property for sale in Trapezaki, Kefalonia
Trapezaki is a small bay on the south coast of Kefalonia in the Livathos, west of Lourdata, with a beach at the bottom of a lane and villas on the slopes above. There is no village at the beach itself; the settlement is scattered across the hillside and in the hamlets on the coast road. It suits buyers who want a villa near a quiet beach on the south coast, about half an hour from the airport.

The bay
The coast here is a series of small bays beneath cultivated slopes, and Trapezaki is one of the more sheltered of them, with a sandy beach reached by a steep lane. The hillside above is olive terraces and scattered houses, and the view from the upper slopes takes in the bay and the long coast towards Lourdata and Katelios. Argostoli is a short drive to the north-west.
Property
Trapezaki's market is almost entirely villas: houses with pools on the slope above the bay, some built for letting and some for their owners' own use, along with plots on the terraces along the coast road. Portal averages in 2026 put the Leivatho municipal unit, which includes Trapezaki, at around €2,950 per square metre, the highest of the island's units, and a new villa with pool in this belt is offered at €0.7–1.8 million as an indicative band. Buyers are British above all, with a mix of German, Dutch and American purchasers, most of them looking for a house within easy reach of the airport and the beaches rather than a village to live in.
