Mikros Gialos is a small bay on the south-east coast of Lefkada below the village of Poros, with a pebble beach, a few tavernas and a settlement that exists mainly in summer. It faces east across the channel to the mainland and is reached by a lane down from the main road. It suits buyers who want to be on the water in a low-key setting, with Sivota's harbour and Nidri's ferries within a short drive.

The bay
The bay is enclosed by two wooded arms and opens on to calm water, which makes it a regular stop for yachts moving between Nidri and Sivota. The beach is pebbles, the settlement behind it a scattering of houses, small apartment buildings and holiday accommodation, and above it the ground rises steeply to Poros. There is little here out of season.
Property
Houses and small villas on the slopes above the bay are the typical purchase, with views down to the anchorage, alongside a limited number of holiday apartments near the beach. Waterfront positions are few. Mikros Gialos lies in the Apollonioi municipal unit, and portal averages in 2026 put that unit at around €4,750 per square metre, though the figure reflects the villas of Sivota and Vasiliki more than the modest stock here. Buyers are mostly foreign, often sailors or families who have holidayed on this coast, and the ferry-free road access from Preveza airport is a large part of the appeal. A pool, if a house lacks one, is put by agencies at €35,000–70,000 to add.
