Property for sale in Agios Gordios, Corfu
Agios Gordios is a long beach on Corfu's south-west coast below the village of Sinarades, about half an hour from the airport, set at the foot of a steep, green valley with cliffs at one end and the rock of Ortholithi standing in the sea at the other. It is a summer resort of hotels, apartments and tavernas along a single road, and a quiet place the rest of the year. It suits buyers who want a beach and a view of the sunset within easy reach of Corfu Town.

The beach and the village
The road drops from Sinarades through olives and cypress to the beach, and most of the property lies on either side of it: apartments and small hotels near the sand, houses and villas on the slopes with the sea below them. Sinarades above is a large village with stone houses, a square and a local life that continues through the winter. To the south the coast becomes wilder, with the beaches of Paramonas and Halikounas further on; Pelekas and Glyfada lie to the north.
Property and prices
Buyers here look at villas with pools on the hillside, apartments near the beach, stone houses in Sinarades and plots in the groves between the two. It is a value coast: British and Irish buyers on retirement budgets who want a two- or three-bedroom house with a pool on the south or west of the island find it here, alongside German-speaking buyers. Portal averages in 2026 put the Parelioi municipal unit, which includes Agios Gordios and Sinarades, at around €2,180 per square metre, up around 15% on the year. As indicative bands for the west, a renovated stone house is €0.3–0.7 million, a new villa with pool €0.7–1.8 million, a sea-view apartment €0.18–0.35 million and a plot with permit €120,000–400,000.
