Ermones is a small bay on Corfu's west coast, about twenty-five minutes from the airport, where a steep, wooded valley opens onto a pebble beach, with the island's golf course on the flat land of the Ropa valley just inland. There is no village at the shore, only hotels, apartments and a few houses on the slopes, with Vatos and Giannades on the hills either side. It suits buyers who play golf, or who want the west coast within easy reach of town.

The bay and the valley
The road from town comes over the hills and down the valley to the bay, which is small and closed in by headlands. Behind it, the Ropa valley is one of the largest stretches of flat land on the island, and the Corfu Golf Club's course occupies part of it. Vatos is the nearest village, on the hillside to the south; Glyfada and Pelekas are the next beaches down the coast, and Paleokastritsa lies to the north.
Property and prices
Property at Ermones is mainly apartments and houses on the slopes above the bay, villas with pools on the hills towards Vatos and around the golf course, and plots in the valley and the groves. The coast faces west, and the evening light is the reason many buyers choose it over the east. Portal averages in 2026 put the Parelioi municipal unit, which includes Ermones with Pelekas, Glyfada and Sinarades, at around €2,180 per square metre, up about 15% on the year. As indicative bands for the west, a new villa with pool is €0.7–1.8 million, a renovated stone house €0.3–0.7 million, a sea-view apartment €0.18–0.35 million and a plot with permit €120,000–400,000; a sea view adds a premium generally put at 15–30%.
